Mohawks Ice Racing Club

It's that time of the year again and the 29th edition of Trophée Leon Quaglia is coming up. The 5th to 7th of August 2011 will host the event in Chamonix (France), near the foot of Mont Blanc. The 5 days before the skating competition include a 5km mountain run, a great achievement for all ages and a mountain bike race, you don't have to be a racing skater to take part in these competitions either.

From Sunday to Thursday, there is also 2 training sessions on ice for skaters, one in the morning and one in the evening.

It is a great event for all the family and many treat this as a holiday as well as a chance to get fit and compete, with many other activities around the village including a summer luge and paragliding.
